Swing Band

The Sapphire Swing band is a musical group with a difference; mixing their favourite styles of music; Jazz, Dance, Swing & Pop, and putting their own special “modern vintage” twist to bring a fantastic performance that can be specially crafted to suit any event. Their incredible versatility means the 4 piece band can offer a unique musical experience, providing Lead Vocals, Saxophone, Trumpet, Piano, Bass, Drums and Backing Vocals all performed by just the 4 band members!

Having performed professionally around the world for the last 10 years, they are equally at home playing in a concert hall, a wedding ceremony, providing background music for cocktails reception or rocking out the party until the early hours! The addition of female vocals and/ or guitarist can be included as an option to take the musical entertainment to the next level, a truly world class experience, featuring experienced musicians at the highest level and amongst the most in demand in the professional music scene.

Drums can also be replaced with auxiliary percussion for more intimate & quieter settings.

We are also delighted to now offer the “Sapphire Horns” as an add on option, a 3 piece horn section consisting of Trumpet, Saxophone & Trombone to recreate the full sound of the classic big bands and larger pop bands.

CORPORATE WORK:

The Sapphire musicians have vast experience in performing corporate and private functions, performing in well over a thousand events combined, for many celebrity events, award ceremonies, private business and social events and celebratory functions. Individually they have performed for Prince William and Kate Middleton, Princes of UAE and for many well known celebrities and multinational companies at venues including: The Dorchester Hotel, The Savoy, National Theatre, Natural History Museum, Langham Hotel, Shoredich Town Hall, HMS Belfast, The Arts Club (Mayfair), Microsoft HQ, Somerset House, Thorpe Park, Hyde Park, Heron Tower, One Whitehall Place, Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens, Alexander Palace, and performed at Olympic Park for both the Olympics and Paralympics, for England sporting events at Twickenham Stadium (Rugby World Cup), Wembley Stadium (Football – including the FA’s celebrated 100 year anniversary), and Lords Cricket Ground.
