Since 1993 Mr Motivator has released a number of fitness videos, all of which have gone on to be double and quadruple platinum sellers. Masses of viewers bought into Mr Motivator’s belief that fitness could be fun; his Bums Legs and Tums (BLT) series shot to the very top of the UK video charts and over 1 million copies have been sold to date.

Now in his sixties, there’s still very much a great demand for Mr Motivator to do personal appearances and team building and motivational talks are still high on his agenda. Aside from various strands on GMTV he has even appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, providing a workout for the housemates! Mr Motivator is also in popular demand for music festivals and live events — his recent appearances include Bestival, Electric Picnic, Dancergy and Snowbombing.

At his home in Jamaica you will find Mr Motivator’s wife Palmer and daughter Abigail, together with their many pets including dogs, rabbits, donkeys and birds. Jamaica is also the location of his eco-tourism project, H’Evans Scent, where he runs team building/staff motivational workshops and company fun days.

Mr Motivator may now be a grandfather, but he still promotes health and fitness when and wherever he can, still trains every day, and truly is the living embodiment of “practice what you preach”. In Summer 2014, he began training for Tumble – a brand new gymnastics-based Saturday night entertainment show for BBC1. After six weeks of intensive training, Mr Motivator sadly had to withdraw from the programme, having dislocated his knee and rupturing his patella tendon during rehearsals. Although not competing, Mr Motivator made a special appearance in the first show and he is recovering well.
