Liam is a percussionist, drummer, DJ and previously a producer based in the United Kingdom. Liam achieved the Grade 7 on the drums at the Guild Hall before turning to DJing and producing. Liam was part of a Tech house duo called Anx&Iety playing all over the UK in venues such as Fire, Lightbox, Pacha, Egg and many others. His first EP was released in 2013 called Reaching under Arch 44 Music.
The EP gained support from the likes of Amine Edge, Oliver Lang, Alan Banks, Fancois Le Roy, Mark Kane and many more. The first track on the EP yeah yeah climbed the beatport top 100 deep house charts to number 19.
Liam has extensive experience within the clubbing industry, not only as a percussionist but also as a DJ. He understands how to subtlety add percussion to compliment the music rather than play over the music. He has a great understanding of how to build and maintain the crowd. Being a DJ for over 10 years he has learned how to manage a crowd and the importance of performance and the musical journey.
Liam’s previous drumming achievements have enabled him to be a very versatile percussionist and allow him to play to multiple genres.
Liam uses the Roland Handsonic 10 hand percussion pad for most of his club performances, which gives him the choice of 400 high-quality instruments to use in his performances including all of the percussive essentials such as congas, bongos, tabla, djembe, cajon, etc as well as melodic percussion, drum kits and special effects. He also uses acoustic percussion dependant on the venue.
Liam is an extremely talented percussionist and is a great addition to any event. His friendly manner and professional attitude means he is easy to work with. He strives himself on every performance and guarantees customer satisfaction.
