George Chuter has had a long and respected career playing almost a decade of impressive professional rugby and now uses his knowledge and experience as an engaging rugby speaker at corporate events all over the world. First breaking into professional rugby at age 19, he was asked to play for top rugby union team Saracens where he stayed for five years in the position of hooker. During his time on the team George Chuter helped them to win the coveted Knockout Cup.
In 2000, after a year abroad in Australia, George Chuter signed for Leicester Tigers where he stayed for over 12 years, helping to establish his name as a top player with consistent performance on the field where he displayed his skill and commitment to the game. Over the course of his career he has played in seven Premiership titles, helping the Leicester Tigers to reach four European Cup finals in total.
George Chuter finished his illustrious career with Leicester Tigers, overall he has played almost 440 games throughout his playing career, with 40 of them as part of the England team. One particular highlight was as a part of the England World Cup squad in 2007. He retired in 2014 and since finishing has had a range of experience sharing his expertise through appearances on television alongside his numerous speaker roles at high-profile events.
A popular player on the pitch, George Chuter was also among the first inductees to join the Rugby Premiership Hall of Fame. The institution was first launched in 2013 and celebrates the brilliant players who made their mark on the world of rugby.
