The Great British Garden Show with Animatronic Fruit & Vegetable Man
From deep within the vegetable patch at the bottom of the garden, Froojamaflip; a living fruit and vegetable man has been uncovered! With his friend Fred the gardener, they are a unique duo who love to share the wonders of the Great British garden through storytelling, comedy and of course their amazing colourful costumes.
The Great British Garden Show is high visual impact, full of quirky details and Froojamaflip and Fred love to share the importance of healthy eating, buying locally and the natural environment.
Froojamaflip and Fred are highly skilled performers who engage with diverse audiences with a mixture of impro, script and humour, reacting to the environment around them.
Inspired by Giuseppe Arcimboldo, an Italian painter, Froojamaflip is an 8ft stilted character, handmade and painted with a stunning eye for detail and covered from head to toe with over 25 different fruit and vegetables.
A series of animatronics bring the costume to life including a mouse which pops in and out, a crying onion and a cheeky wriggly worm, as well as a few other surprises!
Join them as they wander through your event, sharing stories of the garden including learning all about bees, butterflies and bananas!
Currently performing across England at county shows, flower festivals, shopping centres and food festivals.
