Free Standing Aerial Hoop
Arabesque invite you to experience the enchanted Birdcage. Two fantastical lovebirds spin and entwine around their suspended hoop. Be entranced by these lyrical birds of paradise. This feathery performance combines an atmospheric soundtrack and live birdsong.
From the evocative and balletic to death defying cascades, Arabesque perform a graceful, tailored to request aerial silks piece as a solo or duet.
Their unique and beautiful hoop duet combines the sensual and dramatic stunning fusion of circus skills and aerial dance.
The Birdcage is 4.7 metres, and the show takes place on a versatile free-standing rig. They can perform for 20 minutes (hangabout), take a 20 minute break and then do another hangabout performance for a further 20 minutes.
The Birdcage will require a space measuring a minimum of 4m x 4m x 6m high.The highest point of the rig is within an inch or two of 5 metres, the outriggers (feet) of the rig take up an area of about 3.5 X 3.5 metres.
Standard Length of Performance:
The show lasts for 12 minutes.
