I had the opportunity to do my internship at Contraband because a girl of my school had already done her internship at Contaband before.
I participated in several events, such as the Confex event at London Olympia & an Asian Wedding Exhibition in the beautiful Moor Park, a showcase in the prestigious Spencer House.
I also had the chance to meet a lot of Contraband Performers who visited Contraband HQ to present what they do, by giving live Performers to the team.
I discovered the event industry, and a different way to work than the French one.
I learnt how to organise myself, especially in administration, and better use Excel and Microsoft Outlook. I participated in finding which acts could match with enquiries of clients who plan to do an event, I loved that! I also learnt how to use Pinterst, and of course I improved my English.
I can’t choose my favourite act on Contrabands books, as there are so many different types of acts!! But I liked a dance team called Go Beyond Dance, who are dancers that have fluorescent paint on their body, it mixes music, dance, art…
I’m studying general business, and after my studies, I’d like to work in London.
